Assisted clients with Type 1 Diabetes to commence on insulin pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitors.

Assisted clients with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes to start various insulin regimes and other therapies.

Advised on titration of insulin regimes based on blood sugar readings, education and management of lifestyle, diet and hypoglycaemia.

Worked Nobles Hospital - various wards, medical, surgical, Day Procedures Unit ( ward 14).

Worked Ramsey District Hospital-Martin Ward and Lezayre Ward

Worked Springfield Grange Nursing Home.

In all the above roles I would be administering medication, updating medical records, assisting with personal care and working closely with colleagues to deliver high quality patient care.

Delivery of mail and parcels in the Ramsey area.

Also worked as bank nurse at Ramsey District Cottage Hospital and various Nurse agency work at this time.

Management of chronic diseases by running own clinics, with GP as back up support if needed, in Asthma, COPD and Diabetes, and Cardiovascular Disease.

Management and running of smear clinics- responsible for the safe sampling of each smear sample and assessment of any potential abnormalities,

Vaccination clinics- Management of vaccinations in children, adults and holiday vaccination requirements.

Ear syringing- Ear assessment and safe syringing procedure and management if indicated.

Also saw patients for assessment of illness /condition re possible GP intervention, dressings, venepuncture, health screening and diet management.

Lezayre Ward.

Delivery of Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Cardiovascular clinics, Well man and woman clinics, smear clinics and vaccination clinics -in adults, children and travel assessment and delivery.

Ear syringing, assessment and management. Dressings and Venepuncture.
