I am an ambitious, caring, respectful and passionate international registered midwife with over four years of practical experience and seeking to get a competitive position as a midwife. I am experience in providing holistic and evidence based care individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team to women during pre-conception, pregnancy, labour and postnatal. I have a current and valid registration as a Registered midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council UK. I am also registered as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Ghana with registration number RM16870.

To keep myself updated with midwifery practices, I enrol in continuous professional development from accredited institutions. Apart from being accountable, reliable and confident midwife with adequate knowledge in nursing and midwifery care, maintaining and improving quality health of clients and their families through preventive measures is my priority.

Also, I have a consistent track record of successfully completing assigned duties and tasks and work effectively on any shift.

With my good communication skills coupled with good logic and reasoning skills, I am able to interact easily and therapeutically with people from different cultural backgrounds. I possess excellent organisational and good decision making skills which enable me to be a very productive team member. Having the ability to adapt to situations easily, I am ever ready to learn new skills and technologies that will help me enhance my profession.

Additionally, I am also thoughtful and competent with distinguished knowledge in providing standardised evidence based care to pregnant, birthing and new mothers and dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of the people entrusted in my care. I am an excellent innovative midwife who provides patient-centred maternity care and actively listen to healthcare users and address their anxieties.

Again, My experience in midwifery extends across a diverse range of clinical settings, including the community, antenatal clinic, delivery suite, neonatal care unit, theatre, medical and surgical wards and postnatal wards. I can also use obstetric equipment safely under supervision.Throughout my career, i have cared for women with both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies. My responsibilities have been extensive, encompassing conducting deliveries, performing antenatal screening tests, postnatal care and checks, monitoring vital signs, conducting home visits and neonatal resuscitation.

I advocate for my clients and maintain high standard individualised patient care, family support, health education and promotion as these are core aspects my practice. I possess the capability to rapidly assess patients using the Early Warning Score and escalate as required.

Accomplishments

    I advocated for better health care for women and their families in the rural communities in Ghana to improve maternal and infant healthcare care.
