I am currently attending UCM and have just finished my second year as an apprentice plumber. I have completed my assignments etc to finish the year and look forward to completing the course next year and qualifying.
I am hardworking and a practical person by nature so very much enjoy this type of work.
After a year off following my accident in 2021 (See details) I started a plumbing apprenticeship with E& S Ltd.
I have just finished my 2nd year and look forward to completing the apprenticeship next year.
After leaving school I spent a summer helping out at the polo club where I play. I was there 6 days a week helping to look after and exercise 30+ polo ponies. I also helped with the maintenance of the polo pitches and paddocks.
As mentioned above I was helping at the polo club over the summer of 2024. Unfortunately just as my time there was due to finish I had a accident involving a piece of tractor machinery. I sustained a significant lower leg injury and was flown to Aintree hospital for several weeks and multiple operations. I had a cage fitted and was then transferred to Broad Green hospital for 2 further weeks. Following 4 months with the cage and 8 months of further treatment and physio I am thankful to say I have been very lucky and have full use of my leg. this however accounts for the missing year in my CV.
As awful and terrible as this was for me I feel it has made me stronger as a person as it was a very worrying time for me and my family. I have also been made aware at a very early age that unfortunately bad things can and do happen to all of us.
